Michaela Bagwell is a wife and mother of two young daughters who lives just outside Atlanta, Georgia. She is an experienced marketing leader with a strong track record of helping businesses grow. Michaela works with SmartBiz Bank on digital marketing initiatives focused on reaching and supporting small business owners.

Background

Michaela has spent her career helping businesses build and scale effective marketing strategies. She previously led marketing for Cloud 9 Living, helping build the marketing engine that drove consistent growth before the company was acquired by Virgin. She later served as the U.S. marketing lead for Virgin Gifts, overseeing a multimillion-dollar annual marketing budget.

She has also led growth strategy for a multi-location consumer brand as it expanded from 19 to more than 50 locations while achieving customer acquisition targets. Today, Michaela is the founder of MBCResults), where she provides fractional marketing leadership focused on scaling growth.

Education

Michaela earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Business with a minor in communications from Rollins College. While at Rollins, she served as captain of the varsity water ski team and was a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the national communication honor society.
